A member of the election campaign team of senior leader of the National Independent Party (NISP) Balendra Shah has fallen ill.

Balendra Shah, who is on a tour of the country for the upcoming House of Representatives elections, has reached Achham. Dinesh Sitaula, a resident of Tokha in Kathmandu, who had arrived there with him, suddenly collapsed on Friday morning.

According to Dr. Kamlesh Yadav, the head of Achham District Hospital, Sitaula has suffered a serious head injury. Considering his condition, preparations are being made to refer him to Kathmandu for further treatment. According to Dr. Yadav, the patient needs a CT scan and it has been decided to send him to Kathmandu as he needs to be taken to a hospital that provides neurosurgical services.

A Nepali Army helicopter is preparing to land at the Achham District Hospital premises to take the injured Sitaula to Kathmandu. Hospital sources have said that preparations are being made to send him to Kathmandu by helicopter after the necessary procedures are completed.

Shah is currently present at Achham District Hospital and is coordinating the treatment process.
