Only 220 votes were cast in the voting held on Sunday for the election of two National Assembly members from the Far Western Province.

Two local level voters and two provincial assembly voters are absent. According to the Office of the National Assembly Member Election Officer, provincial assembly members Prakash Bahadur Deuba of the Congress and RPP MP Khemadevi Bista were absent.

49 people from the Sudurpaschim Provincial Assembly are voters for the National Assembly. Similarly, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City Mayor Gopal Hamal and Joshipur Rural Municipality Vice-Chairman Rekha Kadariya were absent from voting.

171 people from the local level participated in voting. There are 51 voters in the Sudurpaschim Provincial Assembly. There are 173 voters in this province with 88 local levels, and 171 votes were cast.
Out of the total number of voters, 24, four votes were not cast.

Voting was held for two members in the Sudurpaschim, one for women and one for others. There are 4 candidates for this. There is an alliance between UML and the Congress. The joint candidates for the women's seat from the alliance of the Nepali Congress and the UML are UML's Lila Kumar Bhandari and the Nepali Congress's Khamma Bahadur Khati. The Nepali Communist Party's Rosy Basnet and Tikaram Jaishi are candidates.
