Interviews for applicants to join the Election Police are underway. Those who have passed the written exam will be interviewed on Friday.
Out of the 1,375 election police officers required in Baitadi, 1,551 people applied.
The former police officers who applied were not included in the written exam and the remaining candidates were directly passed the written exam. District Police Spokesperson Police Inspector Suraj Singh informed that the interviews of those who passed the written exam are being held on Friday.
He said that seven lines have been arranged for the interviews in Tundikhel, the district headquarters. He said that the selection process will be completed by Friday evening after the interviews are completed.
