The eighth municipal assembly of the district's Dasharathchand Municipality has concluded with the passage of 10 procedures.
The Municipal Assembly has passed the Child Nutrition Improvement Procedure-2082, Municipal Agricultural Program Operation Procedure-2082, Municipal Agricultural Ambulance Service Operation Procedure-2082, Dalit Network Formation and Operation Procedure-2082, Jhuse Damai Scholarship Distribution Procedure-2082 and the Municipal Cooperative Regulations-2082, informed the Municipal Planning Branch Chief Rajesh Khatri.
‘Some wards have allocated budget but the plans and programs that could not be implemented have been amended and new plans and programs have been made and the budget has been transferred,’ he said, ‘The programs will proceed immediately as per the procedures passed by the Municipal Assembly.’
In many wards of the municipality, farmers produce seasonal and non-seasonal vegetables and carry them to the market on their backs. Keeping this in mind, the agricultural ambulance purchased immediately after the current fiscal year has not been able to operate until now due to the lack of procedures. Deputy Mayor Kaushila Chand said that now that the procedure has been passed, it will be easier to operate other programs including the agricultural ambulance.
