Pipalkot won the title with 11 gold, 4 silver and 8 bronze medals in the Running Shield held at the Lovelake Sports Ground. Along with this, Shrikedar won the rural municipality-level Running Shield.
Similarly, Rauleshwor Secondary School, Kalagaun came second with seven gold and one bronze medals, and Bhagwati Secondary School, Sittad came third with 6 gold, 6 silver and 6 bronze medals. The first, second and third place winners received 25 thousand, 15 thousand and 10 thousand rupees in cash respectively.
11 secondary schools of the municipality participated in the rural municipality-level President's Running Shield, which was held last Friday.
