All services at Dadeldhura Hospital have been operational since Thursday afternoon. All services, except emergency services, were closed on Wednesday after Hospital Development Committee Chairman Karunakar Ojha was assaulted.
The decision to resume all hospital services was made in a discussion held among stakeholders on Thursday.
The meeting was attended by District Coordination Committee Chief Gagan Singh Bhandari, Amargadhi Municipality Mayor Dilliraj Joshi, Chief District Officer Bishnu Prasad Koirala, Hospital Development Committee Chairman Karunakar Ojha, Dadeldhura Hospital Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. Sudha Devkota and others.
The meeting has decided to take necessary legal action against those involved in the incident of misbehavior against the chairman.
In addition, it has been decided to immediately inform the local administration about suspicious activities to prevent such incidents from recurring in the future.
