The Hospital Development Committee issued a press release on Wednesday, stating that it has decided to close the hospital services in protest against the incident that has weakened the morale of the employees.
All services, except emergency services, will be closed on Thursday in protest against the incident of misbehavior in the office of Dadeldhura Hospital Development Committee Chairman Karunakar Ojha.
People who came in the name of the NCP (Majority) had smeared Ojha on Wednesday, making various allegations.
The Hospital Development Committee issued a press release on Wednesday and stated that it has decided to close the hospital services in protest against the incident that has weakened the morale of the employees. The Hospital Development Committee's statement states that it has decided to completely close all services except emergency services from Thursday until the culprits are brought to justice immediately and in view of the morale of the employees who have been reduced by the incident.
The hospital says that the misbehavior meted out to Chairman Ojha, who has been working at the forefront to strengthen the overall health system and ensure effective service delivery from the hospital, will seriously affect the morale of all health workers and employees.
The Hospital Development Committee has also called on all stakeholders to stand by the hospital family while maintaining high moral values and norms in this difficult situation. It has also demanded that the concerned bodies investigate the culprits involved in the incident as soon as possible and take legal action.
The hospital has also appealed to all stakeholders, including the local administration, security agencies, civil society, and others, to prevent a recurrence of such chaotic activities in the future.
