UML has recommended the names of eight people, including Deputy Secretary General Lekhraj Bhatta, from the Doti constituency for the House of Representatives elections.
District Secretary Padmaraj Bhatta informed that Bhatta's name, who has already been recommended as a single candidate from Kailali-4, has also been recommended as the first candidate from Doti. According to him, Sudurpaschim Provincial Assembly member Chakra Malla's name has been recommended as the second candidate.
If the party gives him a ticket, Malla is preparing to resign from the provincial parliamentarian post and contest the House of Representatives elections. Apart from Bhatta and Malla, the names of six other aspirants have also been recommended. The recommendation list includes Dirgha Bogati, Manju Malasi, Maheshwor Bhat, Govinda Parki, Dinesh Gharti Magar and Deepak Dhami.
