Police have arrested two people with hashish in Darchula. Police have said that two youths were arrested with 917 grams of hashish from the Mahakali Corridor in Selpya, Malikarjun Rural Municipality-7.
According to the District Police Office, Darchula, the arrested are Mahendra Singh Dhami, 30, of Malikarjun Rural Municipality-7, Dingusi, and Madhukar Upadhyay, 28, of the same place. During the suspicious checking of the motorcycle (number 7 Pa 5392) they were riding, 917 grams of hashish was recovered from the possession of the motorcycle driver Dhami, informed Darchula Police Spokesperson Hemraj Bhatta.
10,000 Indian rupees and 1,350 Nepali rupees have also been recovered from their possession. The police have taken the motorcycle and both the youths involved in the incident under control and further investigation is underway into the incident.
