A community health center has been operational in Chullek, Ajaymeru Rural Municipality-2.
The rural municipality has established the center and brought the service into operation in accordance with the policy of expanding access to health services in remote areas.
According to Ganesh Pal, head of the municipality's health department, the new health center will provide primary services including nutrition, family planning, and health check-ups for children under five. He also said that regular health services will be operated by AHEB.
The rural municipality currently has 15 health institutions, prioritizing the expansion of health infrastructure, and the scope of additional services will be expanded based on need, according to the rural municipality office.
