The arrested person is 22-year-old Ayush Sijapati, a resident of Milanchowk, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-3, Kailali.
He was arrested on Saturday by a police team deployed from Bagbazar, Amargadhi Municipality-5, Dadeldhura, by the District Police Office, Dadeldhura.
According to the police, Sijapati had been sentenced by the court in a drug-related case. The police were constantly searching for him as he was absconding while awaiting the sentence.
The police said that preparations are underway to present the arrested Sijapati in court for the execution of the verdict after completing the necessary procedures. The police have also clarified that the search and arrest campaign for those who have been sentenced by the court in absconding cases is being continuously carried out.
