Ujjaya Nepal Party has expanded its organization in Dadeldhura. A 31-member district committee was elected at a meeting held at the district headquarters on Saturday.
The gathering in Dadeldhura has formed a district committee under the chairmanship of outgoing deputy mayor of Amargadhi Municipality Sangita Bhandari. Earlier, Bhandari, who was elected as deputy mayor from UML, had been close to the Unified Socialist Party of Nepal in recent times.

The members selected include Chhatraraj Joshi, Harisingh Bhandari, Devdutt Bhatta, Roshni Tamrakar, Rajendra Jaishi, Navin Dhami, Tanka Prasad Awasthi, Shashikala Dhami, Kabiraj Awasthi, Shanti Sawad, Dambar Bhatta, Sarika Luhar, Madanraj Paneru, Lal Bahadur Budhaair, Nar Bahadur Pal, Durga Pathak and Rajendra Pandey.
Far Western Province Assembly member Tara Prasad Joshi was the chief guest at the gathering. Joshi, who had reached the Provincial Assembly after winning the 2079 BS election as an independent candidate, had joined the Ujjaya Nepal Party while being close to Kulman Ghising.
