NCP to hold unity message rally in Dadeldhura

The Nepali Communist Party (NCP) is planning to organize a 'Major Unity Message Assembly' in Dadeldhura. The assembly will be held at the bus park of the district headquarters on November 24.

Although the communist unity in 2074 BS raised great hopes across the country, Umesh Bhatta, coordinator of the main committee of the Greater Unity Message Campaign, alleged that the unity process was hindered due to the 'personal pomp' of UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli. Now, he claimed that about 15 communist components have once again come together in one center.

'There are no differences within the NCP in Dadeldhura,' he said, 'All leaders and workers are united in the same objective and spirit.' According to him, former Deputy Prime Minister Bhim Rawal, leaders Khagraj Bhatta, Bhanubhakta Joshi, Prakash Shah and other central and provincial level leaders will participate in the district's unity message meeting.

Bhatta says that this meeting will be important to create a political environment and set a clear roadmap within the organization as the elections for the House of Representatives are approaching. Claiming that the NCP has the capacity to address the questions raised by the Genji movement and the public sentiment, he also said that preparations are underway to select an 'undisputed candidate' from Dadeldhura in the upcoming elections. According to him, the main agenda of the assembly will be how to move the country forward with the long-term goal of building a single communist center.
