A person has died after drowning in the Mohana River in Kailali. Rajesh Chaudhary, 40, of Kailari Rural Municipality-6, Kailali, drowned while fishing in the estuary, according to the District Police Office, Kailali.

According to the police, Chaudhary, who was seriously injured after drowning while fishing, was taken to Seti Provincial Hospital in Dhangadhi for treatment. However, the doctors declared him dead.
