Police have recovered five loaded guns from a single house in Baitadi. The gun was recovered from the house of Bhagiram Luhar, 52, of Upallabatula, Patan Municipality-7.

Police were deployed on Thursday afternoon based on a tip-off that Luhar was making guns at his house. A plainclothes team of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force searched the house and found five loaded guns, said Police Inspector Baldev Badu, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Baitadi. 

It is understood that Luhar is currently in India for treatment and further investigation is underway, Badu said.
