Police have arrested Dambar Air to implement a court verdict in a wildlife crime case. A team deployed from the District Police Office, Dadeldhura, arrested 50-year-old Air, a resident of Tadibata, Amargadhi Municipality-1, on Tuesday.
The District Court of Dadeldhura had convicted Air for wildlife crime without a permit and sentenced him to six days in prison and a fine of Rs 5,000. The Police Office has stated that he was arrested while implementing the court's decision.
According to the police, the verdict of the case against Air was yet to be implemented. While the search was underway for the people on the most wanted list to implement the sentence passed by the District Court, the police had been collecting detailed information about Air's residence, movement and activities so far. Finally, the police said that he was taken into custody from Tadibata on Tuesday.
The police have informed that the arrested Air will be presented in court after completing the necessary legal procedures.
