A woman has died after being attacked by an elephant in Bhimdatta Municipality-14, Kanchanpur.
Police have said that 45-year-old Dhana Bista died in the attack. On Monday night, an elephant from Shuklaphanta National Park attacked Bista while he was trying to escape after breaking through the wall of his house. The others managed to escape and save their lives, said DSP Sagar Bohara of the District Police Office, Kanchanpur.
