Police have seized goods illegally imported from India through customs fraud from Dhangadhi and Tikapur areas of Kailali.
According to the District Police Office, Kailali, the goods were found abandoned in the banks of the Mohana River in Bangraktan, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-9 and Tikapur Municipality-7, according to the police.
The police team deployed on patrol said that they seized goods worth about 318 thousand rupees, including tobacco, speakers, mobile phones, iron rods and nuts. The police said that the seized items have been handed over to the customs office for necessary action.
