The road has been blocked for three days due to landslides in Baitadi

The Dehimandaun-Giregada road has been blocked for three days due to landslides caused by the rain since Thursday night. Police Inspector Balram Pandey, spokesman of the District Police Office, said that the road was completely blocked due to a landslide that came from above the road near Dasharatchand Municipality-2 Sundarkhali.

The road has been blocked for three days after a landslide fell on the road,' he said, 'Even though efforts are being made to open the road, there is a problem due to the non-stopping of the water.' It has been raining continuously for four days in Baitadi. Similarly, a landslide has also occurred near the Julaghat market on the Nepal-India border.

The police said that since the landslide went to the place where the vehicles going to Julaghat were stopped, it did not cause any problem in the traffic.  Apart from these two places, the district police office Baitadi has not received any information about whether the roads were blocked in other places in the district.
