There will be two days of public holiday on the occasion of Gaura festival in Sudurpaschim Province. With the decision of the Nepal government to give a holiday on August 15th and the provincial government on August 16th, two consecutive days of public holiday have been established in the province.

According to the gazette issued by the state government, it is mentioned that apart from the holidays given by the Nepal government, there will also be a holiday on August 16. This year's Gaura festival is starting from Thursday.

The main day of Gaura festival is Athwali-Durvashtami on 15th August. On this occasion, the Government of Nepal has given a public holiday. After that, on August 16, the state government gave an additional holiday, so the residents of the Far West who celebrate Gaura festival will get two consecutive days off.
