A woman has died in Darchula after falling from a tree while cutting grass. Police said that 50-year-old Aiti Dhami, a resident of Khalidada, Naugad rural municipality-6 of the district, fell from the hill and died on the spot.
According to the District Police Office, he died after cutting grass in the forest near his house after falling from a mountain. Chhatra Bahadur Rawat, Information Officer of Darchula Police, said that the incident took place on Thursday evening and the police received the information at night.
Dhami fell down about 150 meters from Bhir and died on the spot.
