The Gokuleshwar-Khalanga road, which was blocked by landslides due to last night's rain, has been put into operation. The road was blocked early in the morning due to a landslide in Panebaj and Terchalek of the Gokuleshwar-Khalanga road section under the Mahakali highway.

The police informed that the blocked road was reopened at 9.30 am after clearing the landslides in both places.

According to District Police Office Darchula, the landslides that fell in Panebaz and Terchalek areas due to the night rain were removed by the machines of the road department and after the roads were cleared, the vehicles stopped on the road left for their destination, said Police Inspector Chhatra Bahadur Rawat.
