Dasarathchand Municipality has launched the program 'Ujyalo Darsathachand'. This program was launched with the aim of lighting lamps in the main market, public places and temples within the municipality.
With the technical support of Nepal Electricity Authority Baitadi Distribution Center, the municipality has started the program by installing 72 bulbs in Gothlapani, Gadhi and Shahilek markets on Sunday evening. City Chief Pushkar Raj Joshi inaugurated the program by turning on the switch placed at the Electricity Authority.
The information officer of the municipality, Raju Bisht, said that this program was conducted from the budget of 999,735 rupees of the last financial year and was launched today by lighting the bulbs that were connected in June due to various technical reasons.
"A budget of 1 million has been allocated for the same program in the current year," he said, "lights will be installed in the rest of the market and other markets from this budget." "The program has been started according to the policy program of the Dashrathchand municipality," he said, "This bright program will cover all public places within the municipality."
