The landslide that came with the rain last night has damaged a house in Purchoudi Municipality-4 Chankilli. Police inspector Baldev Badu, spokesperson of District Police Office, Baitadi, said that the house of local Himal Bohra was damaged after a landslide came from above the house.
"A three-storied, 9-storey house of Bohra was completely damaged by a landslide that fell from the house at around 12 o'clock on Friday night," he said. All the materials inside the damaged house, including food, clothes, etc., have been buried.
The police and the locals are currently working to clear the landslide at the scene.
The family of 11 members of Bohra are living in Dai Motiram Bohra's house after the house was destroyed by a landslide.
