Jai Prithvi Highway was opened after 13 hours. Under Khodpe-Bajhang road section of the highway, the road was blocked due to a landslide in Surnaya Rural Municipality-7 Bhanjyang of Baitadi.

Police Inspector Balram Pandey of Baitadi informed that the highway has been operating since a few moments ago after JCB removed the landslide that fell on the road.

The landslide was delayed due to continuous rain. With the operation of vehicles, the stranded passengers are heading towards their destination.
