The team of Samarjit Gulm established for the protection of Khaptad National Park has conducted Khaptad cleaning campaign.

According to Gulmapati Senani Anupam Aryal, one hundred and 144 kg of garbage has been collected from Khaptad on Sunday.

Gulm has conducted a cleanliness drive with the slogan 'Safa Khaptad Samarjit's Commitment'. Gulm's team collected garbage in various areas of Khaptad National Park including Triveni, Sitapaila, Chinchedhunga, Nateshwari, Khapar Dah, Pulpula Patan, Ghodadownna, Babashram, Bichpani, Lokhda, Bhaskun, Zhigrana and the representatives of the park administration led by Gulmpati Aryal . 

Gulmpati Aryal said that cleaning campaign has been conducted as garbage has been piling up in the tourist area Khaptad recently. He said that the collected waste has been properly managed.
