Family members have also reached there to search for missing Nepali workers in Bakuda village of Thalisen block under Paudigarhwal district of Uttarakhand, India. The father and cousin of Narendra Khadka, who went missing in Wednesday morning's landslide, have reached Garhwal to search.

Khadka's father Chudamani and cousin Naveen Thapa reached Bakuda on Friday afternoon. They left home on Thursday after hearing the news of their disappearance. Narendra along with his wife Sandhya and 18-month-old son Roman are missing in the landslide.

"When you look at the river mixed with landslides, there is no hope that the missing people will be found, but even if you don't agree, you have to come here," Khadka said, "The family of my son who went to earn was taken away by the landslide, he couldn't even stay at home." Khadka said that Minister Rawat has assured that appropriate relief will be provided to the families of those who disappeared in the landslide. 

"You should stay in touch with the Chief and Mate, the Disaster Department will take a proper decision and provide relief," Khadka said about the assurance given by the minister, "Now all the mechanisms have been mobilized for the search."

As there is no possibility of finding the missing persons, Khadka Shaniwar is preparing to return home. He said that he will do the work from the last rites to Kiriya after returning home. Ramu, the husband of Amrita Periyar, who went missing in the landslide, is in Bakhuda. They are working together. Ramu is not able to speak now. He starts crying when talking about his wife. Chitra Bahadur Paudel in Bakhu said that the news was also sent to the house of another missing Subas Vick. 

On Wednesday morning, 5 Nepali workers who had gone there for road construction work went missing after a large landslide occurred in Bakuda area. They were living with tents on the banks of Sudden, the landslide swept them away along with their tents. At least 4 people were injured in the landslide. 

DSP Lokeshwar Singh of Paudigarhwal Police said that the search for the missing persons is continuing. But due to continuous rain, there is a problem in the search.
