Police have arrested a young man with drugs from Gokuleshwar market in Darchula.

According to the police, a young man was arrested with 12 grams of drugs and 730 milligrams of hashish from Shailyashikhar municipality-9 Gokuleshwar market in the district. According to the district police office, 23-year-old Janak Mahara of Marma Rural Municipality-6 Sheri was arrested. Darchula Police Spokesperson Chhatra Bahadur Rawat said that he was arrested by the police stationed at Gokuleshwar area police office on Thursday.

The arrested Mahara is being brought to the District Police Office Khalanga and preparations are being made to extend the term, the police said.
