Due to the increase in the water flow in the Mahakali river, four-wheeler vehicles have been banned on the Sharda barrage bridge. Vehicular traffic has been suspended since Tuesday morning.

According to the police, according to the measurement at 7 o'clock, the flow of water in Mahakali has reached 1 lakh 2 thousand 742 cusecs. Four-wheelers were closed for the whole day on Monday as well. It was opened in the evening after the flow subsided. 

Due to the old bridge, as soon as the flow of water in the river reaches 100,000 cusecs, the four-wheeler traffic is stopped.
