One person died in a motorcycle accident in Dadeldhura's Ajaymeru Rural Municipality. About 45-year-old Ganesh Bhatt of Ajaymeru rural municipality-2 died in an accident on Monday evening.
On his way home, the motorcycle he was riding got uncontrolled and fell down about 50 meters when he reached the curve of the road in Ajaymeru Rural Municipality-1, Puilek Kasipur. The police said that the motorcycle he was riding had no number plate and was a red colored Pulsar motorcycle.
After the accident, the police team reached the spot and Bhatt, who was seriously injured, was immediately rescued and brought to Dadeldhura hospital. But he died at 7:30 pm during treatment in the hospital.
According to the police, it is initially estimated that the speed of the motorcycle, the condition of the road and the geographical structure played a role in the accident. The District Police Office Dadeldhura has informed that further investigation regarding the said accident is ongoing.
