Due to the increase in the water flow in the Mahakali river, four-wheeler vehicles have been banned from the Sharda barrage bridge since Monday morning.
According to the measurement at 11 am on Monday, the flow of water in Mahakali has reached 161 thousand 32 cusecs. As soon as the flow of the bridge exceeds 100,000 cusecs, the traffic of four-wheeled vehicles will be banned due to the age of the bridge, Deputy Superintendent of Police Sagar Bohra said.
