Hira Sarki, Minister of Internal Affairs and Law of the Far Western Province, has pointed out the need to put it into practice as the necessary policy arrangements for inter-provincial resource sharing have been made.

Speaking at a workshop held in Dhangadhi on Thursday, Minister Sarki said that cooperation between provinces is essential for resource mobilization, disaster preparedness and response, as the policy basis has been prepared and it should be put into practice.

The workshop organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law of the Far West Province Government was focused on making inter-provincial resource sharing effective, preparing drafts of guidelines and memorandums of understanding, disaster risk reduction and expanding cooperation in the field of capacity development.

The program was completed with the financial support of the European Commission, technical support of UNDP Nepal, UNICEF Nepal, UN Oman, Handicap International and the Super-2 project operated by Ruduk Nepal, said Amar Saud, executive director of Ruduk Dadeldhura.
