The police have arrested four people along with the drug brown heroin from different places in Kailali.
According to the police, 19-year-old Dipendra Nepali, a resident of Dipayal Silagadi Municipality-3 of Doti, was found with 1 gram of 710 milligrams of brown heroin in Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city-3, Trinagar post.
He was arrested by a team jointly deployed from District Police Office Kailali and Trinagar Police Station.
Similarly, 25-year-old Kallu Rana, a resident of Lakhimpur Khiri, Suda, India, from Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan-10, Simalghat, was also arrested by a team deployed from Jugeda temporary police post with 1 gram of 430 milligrams of brown heroin.
Similarly, 25-year-old Niraj Katharia and 20-year-old Aman Badayak from Janki Rural Municipality-4, Belpur, have been detained by the police with 2 grams of 310 milligrams of brown heroin. They were arrested by a team jointly deployed from District Police Office Kailali and Area Police Office Tikapur.
The police said that all the arrested persons are being investigated in the drug-related case.
