Five members of the same family have fallen ill after eating poisonous mushrooms in Dodhara Chandni Municipality-6 Kalagad toll.

On Monday, the police said that they fell ill after eating poisonous mushrooms picked from Nangra forest in bordering India. 

According to DSP Sagar Bohra of District Police Office Kanchanpur, 63-year-old Kalu Sunar and her granddaughters 18-year-old Nisha, 8-year-old Mansu and grandsons 16-year-old Bhim and 12-year-old Vasant are sick. They are being treated at the health center in Dodhar Chandni.
