SP says - 'It's not a big issue'

There was a clash between inmates inside the Kailali District Jail. Prisoner Nike Khagendra Bogti was beaten. Bogti was beaten up by the group of Kapil Shrestha, who is in custody pending trial in the Bhupendra Baduwal murder case.
After the incident, Chief SP Balnarsingh Rana of District Police Office Kailali and Chief District Officer Gogan Bahadur Hamal reached the jail.
Bogti was taken to Seti Provincial Hospital for treatment. Rana said that he was brought back after normal treatment as there were no major injuries.
SP Rana asked not to make a big issue as the incident was normal. He said, 'This happens where there are people. We are investigating. I don't think this is a big issue.' The details of the incident have not been made public yet. The police said that the fight is being investigated.
In Kailali prison, such incidents happen many times. Just a few days ago, 28-year-old Harish Singh Pali of Bhageswar Rural Municipality-5 of Dadeldhura died suspiciously.
