After the declaration of 'full immunization sustainability assurance' to all 10 municipalities of the district, the district has been declared fully vaccinated.
According to Tirtha Raj Bhatta, Public Health Officer of District Public Health Office, Baitadi, in the first phase, after all municipalities in the district have been declared fully vaccinated, the entire district has been declared fully vaccinated and sustainable based on the set indicators and the 'Purnvaccine Directory 2071'.
According to the latest survey, 4 thousand 331 children aged 0-15 months have been fully vaccinated, 2 children have not been vaccinated at all. Similarly, 13 thousand 105 children aged 16-59 months were fully vaccinated, 42 were partially vaccinated and one person was not vaccinated at all.
A house-to-house survey was conducted in every ward of the municipality under the initiative of the vaccination coordination committee. Children were vaccinated from 322 vaccination centers in the district.
The Public Health Office has informed that even those who have received partial and zero vaccinations will be fully vaccinated. Public health officer Bhatt said that due to migration, the children did not get the full vaccination.
The District Vaccination Coordinating Committee honored 10 outstanding vaccination workers of the district with cash and certificates in the declaration of full vaccination assurance and sustainability.
