The body of a 60-year-old woman has been found on the banks of the Godavari River in Godavari Municipality-2 of Kailali. According to the area police office Malakheti, the locals informed the police after seeing the body.

In the preliminary investigation, it is assumed that the body may have been washed away in the river as the body was abandoned and there were no injuries on the woman's body. The identity of the body is yet to be revealed. The body has been sent to Seti Provincial Hospital Dhangadhi for post-mortem. The police said that further investigation is being done on the

incident.
