According to him, there is an arrangement to provide 50 percent subsidy to the farmers based on the cost of fine rice and Raithane rice and advanced seed production in paddy cultivation.

Paddy production has been increasing in Kailali in recent years. In the year 080/81, 3 lakh 24 thousand 280 metric tons of rice was produced. Productivity was 4 decimal .
