5 people were injured when a vehicle carrying Nepali Army personnel overturned while repairing a broken guideway near a 4-lane concrete bridge built on the Mahakali river.
On Friday morning, while taking the soldiers to the construction site, the army vehicle overturned and they were injured.
"Everyone's condition is normal, they have been taken to Mahakali Regional Hospital for treatment," said Nishant Pandit, chief engineer of the Engineer Department of the Nepal Army, "The vehicle carrying our soldiers has overturned." The area has been declared a disaster area and is being worked on by the army.
Now along with the reconstruction of the guide bond, the channelization work is also being done to divert the Mahakali river in the middle part.
