In Kailali, a woman was arrested for abandoning a newborn baby in a drain. Dhangadhi-14H near Saino Chowk in village, she was taken into custody by the area police office Boulia and handed over to the district police office Kailali.

District Police Office Kailali informed that the arrested mother has been taken into custody and further investigation is underway. On May 12th, after the locals saw the baby crying,  He informed the local police office Bahulia. The police rescued the baby safely and sent it to Seti Provincial Hospital Dhangadhi on the same day. Now, the police said that the child has been kept in a safe house in Dhangadhi.
