Corona infection in India is increasing day by day. Its risk is also increasing in Nepal. However, activities such as normal inspection and testing have not been done at the checkpoint.

Corona infection has been confirmed among 3 people who were returning home through Kailali's Gouriphanta border on Wednesday  . All of them have returned home from Delhi, India. This also shows that the damage is increasing.  There is a shortage of antigen kits at Gaddachouki checkpoint in Kanchanpur. No testing has been done here yet. "The antigen kit has not been received, there is also a lack of market to buy it," said Siddharaj Bhatt, the Covid focal person of District Health Office Kanchanpur, "There has not been any instruction from the top level on how to work at the checkpoint." He said that the test will be started after the antigen kit is available.

At present, one and a half/two hundred people are entering Nepal through Gaddachouki crossing daily. Vishal Bhatt, Head of Gaddachouki Health Desk, said that they will be sent home after general counseling. According to him, the test could not be done due to lack of kits. Although the kit has been requested, information has been received that it will be available in a few days .
