There is a lack of budget and technical manpower in the construction of a ferry at the border of Achham and Surkhet to connect East Achham with access to the road network. For the ferry to be operated on the Karnali river, the work has started by allocating 60 lakhs in the current financial year, which will be paid from the Turmakhand Rural Municipality.

He says that all the materials for the construction of the ferry have reached the construction site and they have not been able to find technical staff.
