70-year-old Dhanapati Nath, a resident of Dasarathchand Municipality-6 Tak of Baitadi, died after falling from a mountain. The police said that he was seriously injured after falling while cutting grass in the local forest on Saturday afternoon.
According to District Police Office Baitadi, Nath, who had gone to cut grass in the forest near her house, fell down 200 meters on Saturday afternoon. Baitadi Police Spokesperson Baldev Badu said that she was seriously injured after falling and died in the afternoon during treatment at the District Hospital Baitadi.
The body has been kept at the district hospital for post-mortem and the police said that further investigation is underway.
