Cricket in Dipayal Bus Park, no budget for new construction

Due to the absence of an organized bus park in Dipayal, the headquarters of Doti, vehicles are forced to park on the road. The car dealers do not agree to go to the bus park because the existing bus park is too small. That bus park is deserted today. Youngsters play cricket there in the morning and evening.

Traders complain that their cars are parked on the road and their shops are destroyed. "Vehicles park on the road instead of going to the bus park. Our business is disrupted," said a businessman. Due to this, the accidents on the road have also increased.

Dipayal Silagadi Municipality of Doti also bought land for the construction of a bus park in Kathayat tol in the 10th ward of Sawik in the year 2052 for 190,000. There, the municipality had also constructed a fence (wall) by spending 890,000. But later the place became barren for 27 years as the place was too small. In the year 2079, the city chief Vijay Khadka planned to build a city hospital on that land and now the building of the city hospital is under construction.

As the vehicles are parked on the Pipalla highway at Dipayal, the vehicles going to Achham, Bajura and Dadeldhura from here are also facing problems. Drivers say that because the bus park is not big, they have to park from the main road.

District Traffic Police Office Dipayal said that more than 400 vehicles pass through this highway every day. Dipayal Silgarhi Municipality said that since the last few years, apart from passenger vehicles, the traffic of trucks, tippers, tractors, autos, buses and other means of transport is increasing day by day.

I heard that the car goes to the bus park itself. But they don't know. I understand," said Doti Chief District Officer Mohanraj Joshi. According to him, the local level is silent on this matter.

Last year in the year 2081, Dipayal Silagadi Municipality will build a bus park, which was done by purchasing land of 29 ropani at the rate of 1 lakh per ropani by spending 29 lakhs, city chief Bajisingh Khadka (Vijay) informed.

We have prepared and approved the DPR for the modern bus park. As it will be built on the banks of the river, a lot of money is being spent there," Chief Khadka said. "We have requested a loan of 90 million from the Municipal Development Fund. Khadka said that he will start work there as soon as the embankment is finished.
