A pedestrian child died in a car collision on Jogbudha-Budar inner road section of Alital rural municipality-8 Sunkhola in Dadeldhura. Three people were injured.

Bikram Bik's four-year-old son Vivek Bik, who was going from Kainghadi to Godam Bazar, was hit by an auto going from Budar to Jogbudha around 5 pm on Thursday. The car overturned after being hit by a car numbered Bhinpa 001 H 0126 driven by an unidentified person. 

Dadeldhura police said that seriously injured child Bik was immediately taken to Jogbudha hospital by ambulance for treatment, but he died during treatment. In the accident, 18-year-old Deepak Bohra of Alital-4 and 63-year-old Maina Kami of Alital-6 who were riding in the car sustained minor injuries. Both of them were injured in their right hand. They have been treated at Jogbudha Hospital.

The auto driver absconded after the accident. The information officer of the District Police Office, Dadeldhura, Dumbar Bista said that the car was found at the scene.
