After the death of an education officer working in Lekam rural municipality in an accident, mourning leave was given in the rural municipality on Tuesday.

On Monday, while returning home after completing the educational program, a motorcycle accident occurred. Education officer Keshavraj Ojha, who was injured, died during the treatment . 

After the death of Ojha, who was also the head of education, youth and sports department of the rural municipality, it was decided to give mourning leave to all the government offices under the rural municipality.

On Monday, Officer Ojha, who was seriously injured, died during treatment after a stone fell on his back at Godali in Lekom Rural Municipality-4 while he was returning home after completing an educational program in Lekom Rural Municipality-5 Chowpata.

Education Officer Ojha, who is also a resident of Lekam Rural Municipality-4, met with an accident while returning home from Chowpata. The doctor declared him dead when he was taken to Gokuleswar Hospital for treatment from the spot. The death of Education Officer Ojha has caused a great loss in the education sector of Lekam Rural Municipality, said Ram Dutt Joshi, chairman of the rural municipality.
