A woman who was under police custody in Dhangadhi of Kailali escaped with handcuffs on Sunday. 50-year-old Meena Shahi Damai absconded with handcuffs. He was taken to the public prosecutor's office for an extension.
According to DAP Navinraja Budhathoki of ELA Police Office Tikapur, Meena absconded after being taken to the public prosecutor's office for another extension. DSP Budhathoki said that the police are searching for him.
The deadline of 10 days was extended for the first time on the 5th to investigate Meena, who was arrested on the 4th of Baisakh in a human trafficking case from the Tikapur police office of Ela on the charge of trafficking a girl who is related to India.
