One person was found dead in Belauri Municipality-10 Shivnagar of Kanchanpur. Police said that 50-year-old Harikisan Rana of Beldandi rural municipality-3 was found dead on Tuesday morning.

According to District Police Office Kanchanpur SP Chakraraj Joshi, Rana was walking from home at around 4:00 in the morning and the dead body was found burning on the mustard chaff on the side of the road in Shivnagar. He said that the motorcycle he was driving was also found burnt on the side of the road. 

"It is not possible to say anything right now," SP Joshi said, "The motorcycle is on the side of the road, the body was found somewhere, we are investigating."
