Property worth lakhs of rupees has been destroyed in a fire incident at two places in Kailali district.
A fire broke out in the barn of Hans Vick, a resident of Bagnia, Lamkichuha Municipality-2 in the district. The barn, including two goats inside the barn, was completely destroyed by fire and the damage was worth 250 thousand. District Police Office Kailali informed that a buffalo was also burnt and injured in the fire. The police said that the cause of both incidents is being investigated.
Similarly, a fire broke out in the shed of Arjun Chaudhary of Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city-17 Dhurjanna. The fire caused a loss of Rs 96,000. The fire destroyed various materials including the goats inside the barn . Police said that the fire was brought under control with the help of police and local residents.
