Sayal rural municipality has announced to give 50,000 rupees as relief to the families of those who died due to lightning.

Sayal rural municipality ward no. 33-year-old Kamala Nagari of 6 Dallekh was killed by lightning on Wednesday night and 7 people including her children were injured in the incident.

Chairman of the rural municipality Dharma Jaeshi said that the relief funds will be provided as soon as possible by the decision of the executive. 5 children including a 3-month-old baby are stranded after the death of Kamala's mother.

The police have informed that they also suffered minor injuries due to lightning. They are being treated at the district hospital.

3-month-old baby Shankar Nagari is screaming at the hospital after not being able to suck his mother's milk. Vipana Jaeshi, a health worker in the hospital's general ward, said that the hospital is feeding lactase to the baby.
